– Our Plan Details –

Phase #1: The Ross Exposition Center

The Expo Center will be a year-round facility, climate controlled, that can be configured into a variety of floor plans. It can house weddings as well as sport competitions, exhibit animals or serve as a sale ring. This facility will also contain bathrooms, a warming kitchen , and other amenities.

  • Currently, fairgrounds are fully utilized for only one week during the year. 
  • Expo Center will feature a modular layout, approximately 67,000 sq. ft., that will be available for community use year-round.
  • It will also house a show ring, sale ring, bathrooms, showers, and a food prep area.
  • Community-centered, Expo can be used for exhibitions, competitions, trade shows, community and sporting events. A variety of options from dinners to champions!

  • Competition size covered outdoor arena for shows and staging area for livestock events. Including multiple use flexible space.
  • 32,000 sq ft horse arena.
  • Major parking lot upgrades.

  • New Beef Barn will be 16,000 sq. ft.
  • Expanded wash rack and fitting area.

– Our Project Steps –

Construction is underway!

  • Hired a construction manager, Larry Knoble, Professional Engineer, Integrated Construction Consultants, LLC.
  • Ongoing work with survey team: Rafter A, Ltd.
  • Hired Janotta and Herner as the construction company to design and build the new expo center and covered arena.
  • Site work KMU Trucking and Excavating.
  • Prepared site, including soil, utility, and other testing to accommodate new expo building.
  • Building is ordered and scheduled to be delivered fall of 2024.
